Life Insurance in focus...Scottish Equitable
Scottish Equitable are located in Edinburgh, Scotland, and were founded in 1831. They later became a brand of AEGON taking the name of AEGON Scottish Equitable.
In 2006 AEGON Scottish Equitable was awarded a variety of awards at the Financial Adviser Life and Pensions Awards including ‘Pensions Provider of the Year’, and ‘Group Pensions of the Year’, whilst coming second for the ‘Best Individual Pensions Provider’ of the year and ‘Life Assurance Company of the year’ awards. They also won many more at the Portfolio International awards.
In September 2006 Scottish Equitable launched ‘5 For Life’ a new concept for the UK market, ideally suited for those at or close to retirement or anybody reviewing retirement options.
